Nicole Roybal, DVM, DACVO Dr. Roybal grew up in Kaneohe and graduated from Kamehameha Schools. She obtained her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Colorado State University, graduating with honors from both programs. After completing veterinary school, she decided to pursue advanced training to become a veterinary specialist in ophthalmology. This involved a 1 year rotating internship followed by a 3 year ophthalmology residency at a large multi-specialty practice called Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego. After obtaining board certification in ophthalmology, she continued to practice in San Diego for several years. After having 2 children, Dr. Roybal and her husband Jason made the decision to return home to Hawaii to be closer to family and start their own veterinary ophthalmology practice. They opened Pacific Animal Eye Care in 2019.
Jennifer, Lead Veterinary Technician Jennifer has an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology and graduated with honors from Windward Community College in 2016. She has experience in general practice as well as emergency and specialty medicine, including internal medicine, oncology, cardiology and surgery. Jennifer was born and raised in Kaneohe. She grew up caring for many kinds of pets and has loved animals since she was very young.

Jason Roybal, Practice Manager Jason grew up in southern Colorado and attended Colorado State University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics. He is responsible for all of the non-medical aspects of running this small family business.
